What to do When the Scales Lie

You know how it is, some mornings you wake up and you just know you’re lighter. You bounce out of bed, into the bathroom, on to the scales, and they goddam well lie to you.

In the old days, before I used Optimistic Autosuggestion, I would have been tempted to throw the scales out of the window. But now…

Now, I accept the challenge. I tell myself, “I can lose weight.” And I go on doing what I am doing, eating fresh, healthy foods, exercising as much as I can and telling myself, “I can lose weight.”

The great thing is that I am losing weight. It’s just that it doesn’t happen every day.
